A quick introduction to the stoves I use when wild camping, hiking or practising bushcraft. I weigh up the pro’s and cons and try to show how you can get a decent functional stove on a budget. The 3 main types I feature are meths / alcohol stoves, wood burning and wood gasifier stoves and gas. many of mine are DIY and all are very affordable.
